Our core business is the preparation of used commercial vehicles for resale, and approximately 1000 new commercials. We have upwards of 5000 vehicles per annum through our workshops, with occasional demand for Subcontractors.

When carrying out work on our premises, the employees of Halls Electrical Ltd adhere to all the correct H&S procedures relevant to there works and our environmental policy.

Avon Fire & Rescue

Avon Fire & Rescue Service have been using the services of Hall Electrical for approximately 15 years for all specialist electrical repairs or diagnostic fault finding on our Fleet appliances having the CAN DATA systems.

Due to the size of our Fleet and the work involved, including the installations of emergency equipment for our Radio Cars Halls are contracted to the Service on a daily basis. It was decided that it was more cost effective to use the Services of an external provider for these applications rather than employ our own Electrician as finding a suitable person coupled with the Training provisions that would need to be put in place outweighed any in-house benefits.

Halls have always provided an excellent service to complement our own Workshops, including providing out of hours cover on a 24/7 basis.

Halls and Avon Fire & Rescue have also work together in promoting safety campaigns at various events, especially Truck-Fest in the local area as well as other supportive roles.

Avon Fire & Rescue have always received a first class service from Halls Electrical and with the ever increases in reliance on electronic technology there will always be a need for the specialist role.

Great western Ambulance Service NHS Trust

Halls Electrical Services undertake an important role in the Fleet Services Department of Great western Ambulance Service NHS Trust (GWAS) as a third party supplier of several specialised services. These services are provided in a professional and cost effective manner.

The GWAS fleet is circa 450 vehicles, the majority of which are specially designed bespoke vehicles capable of providing a wide range of clinical pathways to the public GWAS serves. 

These vehicles have become more and more complex over the years and to support the small but dedicated in-house workshop staff with the maintenance of these vehicles GWAS employs the services of Halls Electrical Services.

Using Halls to carry out the maintenance and repair on the specialised areas of the vehicles such as air conditioning systems, battery management systems, climate control and heating systems enables the GWAS engineers to concentrate on undertaking the planned preventive maintenance and servicing of the vehicle.

All the Halls engineers are fully trained and certificated individuals that are capable of providing concise and accurate diagnostics and repairs for many manufactures of ambulance specific systems. i.e.  Eberspacher, Webasto, Carnation Designs, Terrafix and airwave to name a few.

Halls also provide an out of hours service break down for a wider range of repairs that could not be undertake by the limited internal resources GWAS has available. Using Halls is a cost effective method for providing an out of hours service breakdown service. Having an immediate response 24/7 across the whole GWAS patch keeps vehicle down time and unavailability to a minimum.
